Unable to manually update Agent after FP4 release

We have several servers that we have to manually update the agent since BE is unable to update them through the console.  When I attempt to update the agent using the install directory, which is how we have done it in the past, it wants to repair the agent.  It seems the agent install point doesn't recognize that there is an updated version of the agent in the directory.  I have tried running the exefrom the updates folder and it won't run.  Any thoughts?
