Recover data from tape label?

Hello all - just a quick one.

I've inadvertently re-labled a tape rather than renamed it.

Is there any slim chance of recovering the data from this tape - or this gone for good?

I know Symantec says the tape is destroyed, but is there no method of getting this back?
